img Meditation

Raj Yoga Meditation is very simple.

Basically it is just thinking, but learning to think in a way that is peaceful, positive and empowering.

There are no postures or mantras, I just sit quietly and comfortably. I become aware of my thoughts and feelings. Then very gently I begin to direct my mind. I take one thought: I am a peaceful being, an eternal being of light.

Even though my mind may wander I gently bring my mind back to focus on the one thought until my feelings also become cool and peaceful. I practice this feeling throughout the day.

As I progress and learn to bring my mind to a point. I imagine a point of light sitting in the forehead. This is what we call soul consciousness. I see my self as a soul living in the body. The body is something I use to express my self through. When my body dies I the soul continues, I am eternal.

The third stage is, I see my self as the conscient point of light journeying across time and space to a place of silent golden light. Here I connect with the supreme being who is also a point. This being has never come into the world of matter. Has never been embodied, so has never lost energy or purity.

When I spend time in the company of this being I am empowered and recharged. I am able to change my life, to transform my negative tendencies. To become a more loving more peaceful person.

This is what we practice and teach in a nutshell. We are not asking anyone to believe this but if you sit for yourself and experiment and practice you can decide for yourself whether its true or indeed beneficial.
